This Privacy Policy explains what information Verocited collects when you use this website and our tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Verocited is an AI visibility consultancy based in Scottsdale, Arizona, serving local and mid-sized businesses across the United States. If you have any question about this policy or your information, contact us at hello@verocited.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your request and run our tools:

  • Information you give us. When you use the CitedIQ™ score tool, you enter a website address to generate a score. When you book a call or use the contact form, you provide details such as your name, email, business name, and what you want help with.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device, and general location, and how you interact with the site, through standard web logs and any analytics we use.
  • The websites you scan. When you submit a URL to the score tool, our system fetches publicly available pages from that address to compute a preliminary score. We do not collect private or password-protected content.

How we use your information

We use the information to:

  • Run the CitedIQ score tool and return your results
  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct calls
  • Provide, improve, and secure our services and website
  • Send you information you requested, and, where permitted, occasional relevant updates you can opt out of at any time

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate, for example with service providers who help us run the site, email, scheduling, and analytics, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We never sell or rent your personal information to advertisers.

Third-party services and links

Our site uses these third-party services: Netlify hosts the site and receives contact form submissions, Calendly handles call booking, Google Workspace handles our email, Google Analytics measures how the site is used, and Google Fonts serves our typefaces. The site may also link to external sites including AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Google AI, and Copilot. Those services and sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We are independent and not affiliated with those companies.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive; it relies on cookies and standard technical information, and it does not collect the text you type into the personalization or scan fields. You can control cookies through your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Turning some cookies off may affect how the site functions.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of any non-essential emails at any time. To make a request, email hello@verocited.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, and we will honor those rights as applicable.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and organizations, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. We will post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
