AI Visibility · Done For You

Your next customers are asking AI for recommendations. Do any AI engines name your business?

In plain terms: we check whether AI tools can find, understand, and recommend your business, then we do the work to fix what is holding you back.

Google still drives most of your traffic, and we keep that strong. But a fast-growing share of customers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Grok first, and those engines name only a handful of businesses. Verocited makes sure one of them is you, and we do the work for you, not hand you another dashboard.

For the local practices and professional service businesses that live and die by referrals: dental, medical, legal, real estate, med spas, veterinary, financial advisors, and the clinics and firms like them who want to know if AI recommends them when a new client asks.

This is probably you

Most businesses look fine on Google and are nearly invisible to AI.

Score my site

Here is what a typical business scores the first time we measure it. Strong website, decent SEO, and an AI Searchability score low enough that the engines cannot confidently recommend them. The number on the right is the one quietly costing customers. Your CitedIQ score is your AI visibility score, your AEO and GEO score, in one honest number.

How search changed

Google hands you a list. AI hands you an answer.

This single shift is why being on page one of Google no longer means being found. Here is the difference, side by side.

Traditional Google

Ten blue links

You ask. Google returns a page of links. You click, compare, and decide for yourself.

"best dentist near me"
10 results · you do the work
  • Ranking is the goal
  • Backlinks and keywords win
  • The user chooses among many
  • Being listed is enough
AI engines

One synthesized answer

You ask. The engine reads everything and names a short list of businesses. There is no page two.

"best dentist near me"

"The best-reviewed dentists nearby are [Name] and [Name], both highly rated for..."

1 answer · the engine decides
  • Being cited is the goal
  • Entity, schema, and answers win
  • The engine chooses for the user
  • If you are not named, you are invisible

The engine names only a handful, and your entire job is to be one of them. That is the work Verocited does.

The honest version

Google still matters. We make sure yours is strong too.

Anyone telling you Google is dead is selling fear. Today, most of your traffic still comes from traditional search, and we treat that seriously: keyword relevance, local SEO, and the fundamentals that keep you ranking. That is part of what we do.

But the ground is shifting by the day. AI search is where attention is moving, and the businesses that build that foundation now will be the ones still found in three years. So we lead with the thing we are best at, getting you cited by AI engines, and we make your Google great at the same time. You do not have to choose. You get both, from a firm that is early on the part that is growing.

Where you actually win

The magic is in the specifics.

No one gets recommended for "best nightclub." That question is too broad, so the engine hedges. Watch what happens as the question gets specific, the way real customers actually ask.

Customer asks AI
"Find me the best nightclub"
There are many great nightclubs. It depends on the city, the vibe, and what you are looking for...
Broad + City + Specific

The specific question is where the engine names one business. It is also where your highest-intent customer lives, the one who knows exactly what they want and is ready to choose tonight. Winning those questions is the work. Each one is a page we build for you.

In each category, AI tends to settle on its favorites and stay there.

These engines reward the business with the most consistent, best-structured footprint, and once they start naming someone, that lead compounds. The first business in your area to do this well is hard to unseat. Right now, in most categories, that spot is still open.

The shift, in numbers

The customers moving to AI first are the ones you most want.

Younger, higher-intent buyers are already asking AI before they choose. Tap a generation to see how far the shift has gone. Every figure is sourced and dated.

To be clear: Google is not shrinking. Total search actually grew about 26% year over year, and AI took the new slice. The shift is not Google disappearing, it is a fast-growing share of high-intent questions moving to engines where most businesses are invisible. Where this is heading

How fast is search moving to AI? Pick a year.

These are industry-wide projections, not figures for any single sector. We do not have verified per-industry forecasts, so we will not invent them. Every number below is a published, dated estimate of the overall search market, with its source shown.

~28%
AI search activity is already about 28% the size of traditional search worldwide, and roughly one in four Google searches now shows an AI answer.
Sources: Graphite, March 2026 (AI vs search usage); Conductor, 2026 (AI Overviews on 25% of searches)

Read these honestly. Forecasts this far out carry real uncertainty, and analysts disagree on the exact year. The consensus across Gartner and Semrush puts the crossover, when AI-driven search starts delivering more than traditional search, somewhere in the 2028 to 2030 window. We show the range, not a single confident number, because a projection you cannot trust is worth nothing. Sources: Gartner (25% traditional search decline by 2026; ~50% of searches AI-assisted by 2028); Semrush (AI search projected to overtake traditional search by 2028)

The firm that fixes it

We get businesses cited by the engines people now ask for recommendations.

When a potential customer asks an AI engine "who is the best [your service] near me," that engine gives a short list of names. If yours is not one of them, you never knew the customer existed. Verocited is the consultancy that fixes the reasons your business is invisible to those engines. We diagnose it with a CitedIQ score and repair it with the Deticia Engine, the same way a doctor reads a chart before treating. Honest scoring, real fixes, no manufactured alarm.

There are tools that will sell you a dashboard, point at the problem, and leave you to solve it. We are not that. We are the firm that does the work for you, built for the small and mid-sized local businesses the AI-visibility tools and the big agencies overlook. We help your business get found, by the AI engines and on Google both.

Diagnose

We crawl your site and your footprint across the web, then score Website Quality, SEO, and AI Searchability out of 100. You see exactly where you stand and why.

Repair

The Deticia Engine fixes the four things AI engines actually read: entity consistency, schema, direct-answer content, and the directory citations that feed the models.

Verify

We track whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Grok start naming you, and report your share of AI voice over time.

Verocited fingerprint mark

Why a fingerprint.

Every business is unique, and how each one gets found by AI is unique too. That is what we specialize in. A fingerprint is a pattern no two people share, a maze of ridges like roads on a map, and AI engines trace those lines across every place your business appears to confirm who you are. When the lines match everywhere, the engine trusts you and recommends you. When they do not, you stay invisible. The Deticia Engine makes your lines line up.

The fingerprint means one more thing: the human touch on every client we work with. We use AI every day and we track how these engines change week to week, because the rules of AI visibility do not sit still. But the tools are only part of it. Roughly twenty percent of this work is the AI; the other eighty percent is human judgment and manual work done by hand, deciding what actually matters for your business and building each piece ourselves. That is the difference between a dashboard that points at your problem and a firm that fixes it.

How the engagement runs

From invisible to cited, in a sequence that respects how AI engines learn.

AI citation is not a switch. It is the compounding result of consistency, structure, and presence. Here is the order we work in, and why order matters.

1

CitedIQ audit

Three honest scores and a tier label. The audit is the most valuable thing we hand you, because it shows the problem in detail no one has shown you before.

2

Lock the entity

One source of truth for your name, address, phone, and description. Nothing else is built until this is consistent, because AI engines distrust businesses that describe themselves three different ways.

3

Structure and answer

Schema markup the engines read, plus pages rewritten to answer the real questions in the first sentence, the format ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Grok lift and quote.

4

Distribute and verify

Citations across the directories that feed the models, prioritized by impact for your business type, then ongoing tracking of whether the engines start recommending you.

Why this is not just SEO

AI engines read different signals than Google ranks.

Traditional SEO chases backlinks and keyword position. AI engines build an answer from entities they trust: businesses with consistent identities, machine-readable structure, content that answers plainly, and corroboration across directories. You can rank on page one of Google and still be invisible to ChatGPT. We measure and fix both, separately and honestly, because they are not the same problem.

See how we score it
Example · AI Searchability

Developing

Strong site, but missing schema and absent from the directories AI engines read. Visible to Google, invisible to the engines that now answer first.

Who we make visible

Built for the categories customers ask AI about most.

We run a dedicated AI-visibility playbook for each vertical, because the questions people ask, the directories that matter, and the schema that wins differ by category. Nationwide.

Do not see your category? We build vertical playbooks on request. If customers can ask AI about it, we can make you the answer.

The questions people actually ask the engines

Direct answers, written to be quoted.

Each answer opens with the plain response an AI engine can lift verbatim. This section is itself an example of the format we build for clients.

To get recommended by ChatGPT, your business needs three things the engine can verify: consistent name, address, and phone details everywhere you appear; structured data that states plainly what you do and where; and presence in the directories ChatGPT reads, especially Foursquare.

Foursquare alone feeds roughly 70 percent of ChatGPT's local business data, which is why it is the first directory we fix. Verocited measures all three signals as a CitedIQ score, then repairs the gaps with the Deticia Engine.

AI search optimization is the practice of making a business easy for AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Grok to find, understand, and cite when people ask for recommendations.

It differs from traditional SEO because AI engines draw on entity consistency, structured data, direct-answer content, and directory citations rather than only backlinks and keyword rankings. A business can rank well on Google and still be absent from AI answers.

Google AI Overviews pull from pages that answer the question directly in the first sentence, carry FAQPage and Organization schema, and come from a business with a complete, consistent Google Business Profile.

Verocited rewrites your key pages in direct-answer format, adds the schema Google reads, and aligns your business details across the web so AI Overviews can quote you with confidence.

A CitedIQ score is Verocited's measure of how visible your business is to AI engines and search. It reports three honest scores out of 100 - Website Quality, SEO, and AI Searchability - each with a tier label from Invisible to Authority.

The score reflects what is actually present on your site and across the web. Strong sites earn strong scores. We do not manufacture alarm to sell work.

The Deticia Engine is Verocited's proprietary methodology for diagnosing and repairing the reasons a business is not cited by AI engines.

It works across four layers: entity consistency, structured data, direct-answer content, and citation distribution across the directories AI engines read. Each layer is measured, fixed, and verified in sequence.

Arena Prints

Custom apparel and print on Shopify. We did the work end to end: schema, entity lock, a directory campaign, and the Shopify implementation itself, so AI engines can find and describe the business accurately. Done for them, not handed over as a list.

Hospitality · Where we learned

Ferruccio's

One of our own businesses, and part of why Verocited exists. Mobile pizza for private parties and large events. We got it onto Wikidata and built the direct-answer content and citations that now surface it for the "best near me" and "who caters" questions guests ask AI.

Business Services · Where we learned

Nicango

Also ours. A B2B vending placement business where we worked out the entity consistency and structured data that gets a company surfaced in AI answers for its category. What we learned here became the method.

Why now

AI citation compounds. So does the cost of waiting.

Being cited by AI is not a switch you flip. It is earned over months, as the engines see your identity stay consistent and your answers stay clear. That is good news once you start, and a problem if you do not. Every month you wait, a competitor in your category is building the signals that get them recommended instead of you. The first business in a category to do this well tends to hold the position. The window is open now and it does not stay open.

Common questions

The questions we hear most.

How long until AI starts recommending my business?

We usually build the core foundation within about two weeks. The wait after that is the engines, not us: they re-crawl on their own schedule and typically take 45 to 90 days to reflect the work, with fuller recognition over three to six months. We control how fast we build. We cannot control how fast the engines update.

How is this different from regular SEO?

Traditional SEO optimizes for a ranking list of links. AI visibility optimizes for an engine that returns one answer and names a few businesses. It leans on entity consistency, structured data, and direct-answer content rather than only backlinks and keywords. You need both, and we keep your Google strong while we build it.

Do you guarantee I will get cited?

No honest firm can promise a citation by a fixed date, because the engines control their own indexing. What we guarantee is the work that makes citation likely, and a clear, measured view of progress the whole way through.
